Rapper Lexii Alijai’s Death Ruled An Accidental Overdose
Many learned of 21-year-old rapper Lexii Alijai‘s passing when a few of her famous friends expressed their shock on Twitter. Lexii Alijai was found unconscious at the Loews Minneapolis Hotel on New Year’s Day.

Frequent collaborator, singer Kehlani, immediately mourned the Twin Cities, Minnesota rising star:
“@Kehlani i’m angry i’m confused i’m heartbroken i’m angry i’m confused. i love you lexii. my baby was 21!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Wale also chimed in:
“Lexii … my God man …”

Four weeks later, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office announced her official cause of death Monday (Jan. 27).
“Alexis Alijai Lynch died due to mixed fentanyl and ethanol toxicity.”
In memory of Lexii Alijai, Kehlani will headline a benefit concert in her hometown on February 19th. Kehlani announced the tickets with a Twitter post and revealed the proceeds she brings in will be given to the late rapper’s family.
