“After almost 4 years I present to you my project ‘ Got It Made ‘ 2•21•20 the wait is over we going up and this mutha fucka slap. Flood my comments with 500 [umbrella emojis] and I’ll drop a song tonight (Presave link in my bio).”

The Oakland native’s third full-length project is comprised of 10 tracks. Just last month, Kamaiyah kicked off her four year come back with a funky new single that takes her back to where it all started called “Still I Am,” which is featured on the late February release, ‘Got It Made.

Her upcoming album includes the likes of Miami’s own Trina, Capolow and J. Espinosa. To add with the surprise of her new album release, Kamaiyah drops her single with Trina.

Back in 2017, Kamaiyah opened up with GQ on being a low key artist over an in your face type of rapper.

”Typically my regimen is, “I don’t fuck with y’all.” I come out for stuff like this, I work, and I go home. I don’t wanna come to your club parties. It’s super weird people in there. Once I get drunk, I get uncomfortable and just wanna go home. I don’t really go out much. You can’t tarnish what you can’t touch.”

On her music she states,

“Yeah. But the thing about me is I have the duality. I can freestyle a whole song, or I can freestyle out the pattern, then go back and write. This guy saw me do 25 songs in one night. Scared the sh*t out of him.”
