Malika Haqq On O.T. Genasis Fathering Her Child: I’ve Been Single The Last 8 Months, But I Am In No Way Alone

Malika Haqq and O.T. Genasis are already on their way to successfully co-parenting their unborn child.

The two seemed to be back together when it was finally confirmed that he’s the father of her baby. But in her latest Instagram post, she revealed that they broke up last year.

“Relationships don’t always work out the way we would hope but between love & friendship we have created a baby boy that will be here very soon. I’ve been single the last 8months but I am in no way alone.”

Despite the breakup, she said that O.T. Genasis, who’s real name is Odis Oliver Flores, has been there with her during every step of her pregnancy.

“OT and I have attended every doctors apt and over all loved on our son together while anticipating his arrival. My priority over the past few months has been to nurture and protect my unborn child.”

She ended the caption by revealing the baby will have his last name.

“Our baby would not be who he is without his father and I thank God for the spirit that grows inside of me. Only thing that matters, we are Baby Flores parents.”

O.T. Genasis also broke his silence and confirmed for the first time that he was the father during Malika Haqq’s baby shower festivities.

Malika Haqq, 36, kept quiet about who fathered her child but said in November that the baby boy was conceived out of love, just after she froze her eggs.

She told her twin sister Khadijah Haqq, on their Facebook Watch series Side By Side,

“The reason why I was so excited to learn that I was pregnant, was because I knew my life was going to change for the better….The greatest blessing that I’ve always wanted, but didn’t know how I was gonna get it, is finally here…I didn’t know when I was gonna have children. So like, deciding to freeze my eggs as a gift to myself for my 35th birthday was pretty hilarious now at this point because I have eggs in the freezer that I may never use because I made a baby in love, and those eggs weren’t necessary.”
