Nene Leakes Calls For A Boycott: Turn Off Your TVs!

RHOA veteran star Nene Leakes did not return for season 13 of the show, but in a recent tweet, she is calling for a boycott.

In a series of tweets she writes:

“Y’all ready to start this boycott yet? What has happened behind the scenes is WRONG! While others were being promoted, BLACK WOMEN who created shows, created genres, built franchise and built networks were being DEMOTED…TURN OFF YOUR TV’S”

Adding,

“Sign the petitions when you see them, repost the boycott flyers when you see them, turn off your TVs.”

Some of her fans wanted to know more of what Nene Leakes was referring to, while others said that they would not be boycotting Bravo or any of its shows:

Last night (Dec. 20) Bravo aired part 2 of the season reunion of Real Housewives of Potomac as well as a new episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, so it’s unclear which show she wants viewers to boycott. But she’s been vocal about Bravo in the past.

While replying to fans on Twitter recently, she previously alleged that the network “forced her out.”

One fan asked if Bravo would give her a spinoff. She responded:

“They don’t think i deserve to work at all in any [capacity]”

Another fan said her statement made it sound like Bravo “forced” her to leave.

Nene Leakes replied:

“They definitely did”

She also retweeted a fan who said the show would be much different without her.

During an appearance on “The Tamron Hall Show,” the reality show veteran could be seen wiping tears as Tamron Hall gently mentioned that she saw that NeNe Leakes had been crying during one of the commercial breaks. She went on to ask her about what she was seeking from Bravo that could potentially bring about a satisfactory resolution:

Um, I can’t tell you everything that I want from them but I can tell you that I want fair treatment. I deserve fair treatment. I haven’t done anything that no one else has done there or haven’t done [that’s] even worse. So I don’t deserve this treatment. I’m as confused as you are.

NeNe‘s been in the news quite a bit lately after announcing her departure from RHOA.

No, I do not.
