Romeo Miller Confirms Quitting “Growing Up Hip Hop”: I Can’t Sell My Soul For Money & A Storyline – It’s FAKE Drama!

Romeo Miller is officially throwing up the deuces to Growing Up Hip Hop.

Last month, we broke the story that Romeo Miller was allegedly quitting the popular WeTV series. A source told us that

“Romeo nor his father (Master P) would never go against their morals for money for any network.”

The source adds,

“He hasn’t been on much of this season and is focusing on his many businesses, career and his love life with new girlfriend.”

The source continues,

“Romeo has nothing against the cast, they’re just growing apart and he rather explore the truth not a fake love triangle that the network is dragging out.”

Fast forward to the present day and Romeo Miller and his father confirm that he is in fact leaving the show. He tells The Breakfast Club:

With the show this — it’s not about the money I’m the highest paid on the network but I had to walk away because you you I can’t sell my soul for money I can’t sell my soul for a storyline you know

He continues,

and it’s never worked for me at the end of the day…

Romeo also says he has no issues with Angela Simmons, who is also on the show with him, or any of the cast members.

I want to wish everybody look I want to wish everybody the best I want to uplift people that’s why I left
the show is that simple it’s it’s fake drama for no reason

The father and son both note that they aren’t into fake drama and that there are other things going on that the show can address/highlight.
