Dwyane Wade Accused Of Threatening Oldest Son’s Head Coach

Future NBA Hall of Famer, Dwyane Wade has spoken out against his oldest son’s basketball head coach in response to Zaire Wade’s current playing time. Zaire and his Seirra Canyon teammates advanced to the CIF State Title game with a win over Etiwanda on Tuesday night (March 10th), in a epic thriller. However, Wade did not play in the game that came down to a last-second shot.

The game winning basket was made by Zaire’s teammate, Ziaire Williams, who is a a five-star prospect ranked seventh in the 2020 class by ESPN. Williams, a Sierra Canyon senior, helped Zaire and the Blazers in an epic come-from-behind, 63-61 victory.

Wade took to his Twitter on Wednesday (March 11th), after the team clinched their spot in the state championship game on Saturday (March 14th), congratulating Williams on his game winning bucket.

However, the 3-time NBA champion announced shorty after the game on Tuesday’s edition of “Inside the NBA” on TNT, he would not attend Saturday’s state title game between Sierra Canyon and the winner of Thursday’s match-up between Sheldon High School (Sacramento) and Bishop O’Dowd (Oakland) in California’s open division. Wade says he has been frustrated with Blazers head coach, Andre Chevalier.

“I will not be there. My son isn’t playing, and I don’t want to do nothing to the coach [Andre Chevalier]. I won’t be there. But I’ll be rooting for the kids.”

According to reports, during a Thanksgiving Hoopfest win in Dallas over Texas state champion Duncanville, Zaire played just four minutes in that game.

Wade and his wife, actress Gabrielle Union, have attended multiple Sierra Canyon games this season. Zaire shares the spotlight on the team with former teammate of Wade, LeBron James oldest son, Bronny James.
