Cardi B’s Coronavirus Warning Was Turned Into A Song That’s Currently Charting, She Responds: “Let Me Hit Up My Label So I Can Get My D*mn Coins!”
Cardi B is all about delivering current events in the most digestible way possible – which is why her social media interactions are such a hit with the people. In fact, her personal account of the all-encompassing COVID-19 virus is garnering lots of attention. Last week, she posted an Instagram video with this message:
“A b**** is scared. I’m a little scared. S*** got me panicking. A lot of you think it was a joke like I was thinking. But that s*** right there, you think you immune to it, guess what? Your pocket ain’t b**** ’cause a lot of s*** comes from China…Coronavirus! Coronavirus! I’m telling you! Sh*t is real! Sh*t is getting real!”
In fact, those last few bars – most importantly, her catchy phrasing of the word coronavirus – has been turned into a song. DJ iMarkkeyz spun her warning into a bouncy hip-hop hit, and it’s charting on iTunes! Cardi B said this about the song:
“@iamcardib The fact this d*mn corona virus song is charting on iTunes ….Hold on ..let me hit the Dj up and Atlantic so I can’t get my d*mn coins”

As far as DJ iMarkkeyz, he says his reasoning for making the song is to ease the anxiety of the public.
