Magic Johnson Gives Advice For Dealing With Coronavirus

Magic Johnson Teams w/ NBA In Coronavirus PSA – “Let’s Follow All The Health Guidelines”
Ervin “Magic” Johnson and shared a social media message reiterating how important it is for everyone to uphold proper instructions and keep a safe distance from others. Since the COVID-19 (a.k. Coronavirus) pandemic has gone global, a total of confirmed three NBA players have tested positive for Coronavirus.
In a video on Monday (March 16th), the Lakers legend calls for action to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Magic begins,
“I know these are very scary times, but I also know we can get through these times together. Please join me and the NBA, lets follow all the health guidelines about washing your hands on a regular basis.”
He adds,
”Especially important that we learn what it means to practice social distancing. Avoid larges crowds, parties, and other gatherings. Stay at home with your family.”
Magic’s PSA comes just 24 hours following Detroit Pistons player Christian Wood reportedly tested positive for coronavirus. He is said to not be showing symptoms. Last week, NBA players Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell both tested positive.

Wood and the Pistons played against Gobert and the Utah Jazz on Saturday (March 7th), and the two were matched up against each other. In addition, a child reportedly was given an autograph when the Jazz played the Boston Celtics has tested positive for COVID-19.
