Raven Symone & Kiely Williams Bury ‘Cheetah Girls’ Drama On Instagram Live, Raven Tells Kiely: “You’re Messy!”

The coronavirus quarantine is prompting not only a heap of Instagram Live interactions between our favorite celebrities, but also the unearthing of nearly decades-old beefs between them. Since the “stay-at-home” order has been in affect across the country in protection of COVID-19 – singer/actress Kiely Williams has already lashed out at her former 3LW groupmates, Adrienne Bailon and Naturi Naughton. She seemingly has no interest in communicating with either of them due to the group’s dramatic fall-out.

But things came to an unexpected turn when Kiely’s Cheetah Girls co-star, Raven-Symone, spoke about her on Instagram Live with “Growing Up Hip Hop” star, Briana Latrise. Raven Symone said:

“She had my name in her mouth, but I appreciate it. It was in true Kiely form! She promoted my stuff while causing drama, so I appreciate it.”

Now, the former “amigas Cheetahs” have sat down in their own IG Live to hash out their differences – seemingly stemming from Raven’s departure from The Cheetah Girls before the movie franchise’s third installment.

“Kiely Williams: Everything leading up to this moment has been more climactic than what’s about to happen. The expectations are high- because I just never felt that way about you or felt like you were that kind of person. You’re not messy…

Raven-Symone: Girl, you messy.

Kiely: I don’t try to be! I promise!

Raven-Symone: But you know what- I don’t have a problem with it…I’ve put myself in places with people that are all kinds of different ways, and you have to appreciate them.”

Apparently, Kiely’s and Raven’s relationship started off rocky due to Kiely Williams’ allegedly shady comment about auditioning for Raven’s part as Olivia on “The Cosby Show.”

Raven-Symone finally revealed why she dropped out of the Cheetah Girls:

“The clique-ish way that there was during that movie made me feel excluded from my original team set- not that it was strong to begin with…there was someone there- because you know me. That’s when me and Belinda [Peregrín] started really being friends because we felt ostracized. And we have other things that led up to that moment that just made it weird.”

Yikes! Was their early 2000s tension resolved?
