Iyanna Mayweather’s Mom Melissia Shows Support As Daughter Possibly Faces 99 Years In Prison
In light of the legal issues Iyanna Mayweather is currently facing, she can assure that she is surrounded by support as her mother Melissia Rene has broken her silence via Instagram.
She shared a photo of her and Iyanna Mayweather, whose father is boxer Floyd Mayweather, walking hand-in-hand amid reports that her daughter could get 99 years in prison for stabbing a woman.
Melissa Rene wrote the caption,
“Got your back Forever.”
Earlier this week, Floyd Mayweather appeared to break his silence on his daughter’s legal woes with a video on Instagram that captioned:
“Never claimed to be perfect, but I strive to be the best father possible.”
It is also alleged that since his daughter’s arrest, Floyd has since deleted all pictures with Iyanna from his Instagram.
Iyanna recently obtained lawyer Kurt Schaffer to represent her.
In the incident in question, Iyanna allegedly caught her boyfriend, NBA YoungBoy, with another woman, Lapattra Lashai Jacobs, in his home. After allegedly stabbing the woman, Iyana has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Since the incident, NBA YoungBoy nor Iyana have spoken out about the incident, but the rapper has recently taken to Instagram to tell his viewers how he feels about Iyanna’s dad, Floyd Mayweather.
