Rosie O’Donnell: Bill Cosby Sexually Harassed One Of My Producers! + His Lawyer Responds: This Is Just Another Attempt To Gain Attention

As Bill Cosby continues his stint in jail for sexual assault, actress and TV personality Rosie O’Donnell is now claiming a producer of her previous talk show, “The Rosie O’Donnell Show” was an alleged victim as well.

While serving as a guest on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen, Rosie O’Donnell alleged that Bill Cosby once sexually harassed a producer on her daytime talk show, which ran from 1996-2002. She said,

Okay, well I’m going to tell you a story about what happened to a staff member on our show. Very tall, like 6 foot tall, larger woman. Very great producer. She was assigned to do his mystery guest. He was there was a mystery guest.  Now news flash, I knew who the mystery guest was all the time. I just was acting along with it… So, in the room, the green room, the producer goes in and she’s talking and saying to Bill Cosby, ‘You know, she’s not going to know that it’s you’ and he said ‘All she has to do is put her hand right here’, and he put his hand near his penis, ‘And she’ll know it’s me.’”

Rosie O’Donnell continues:

She started to cry and got up and left.  Then our producer, who is an African American man, the executive producer.  He went in and had a big discussion with Bill Cosby about what’s appropriate and what’s not, and then they didn’t tell me about it until after the show. So, I was not very uh, you know, I was one of those people who was not surprised by all of his, um, the charges against him.”

She also said that they refused to talk about it during her days as a co-host on “The View.”

But on “The View”, they would not discuss it.  Every time I tried to bring it up it became a little fight.

Andrew Wyatt, the legal defense attorney for Bill Cosby has taken to social media to make the following statement via Bill Cosby’s Instagram page.

Birmingham, AL — Here’s the multi-million dollar question: Why Now? The Rosie O’Donnell Show’s first episode aired in 1996 and the show ended in 2002, but she waits until 24 years later to accuse Mr. Cosby of making lewd comments to a female producer. This is just another attempt for a well-known celebrity like Rosie O’Donnell and many others to create false allegations about Mr. Cosby, in-order to gain attention for themselves and their new projects that are not doing well. Remember, on March 23, 2020, Ms. O’Donnell tried reviving The Rosie O’Donnell Show for one night only and her efforts were catastrophic. Perhaps, if the media did a thorough investigation of Mr. Cosby’s accusers as they have done with Tara Reade (VP Joe Biden’s accuser) — Mr. Cosby would not be in prison today.

Bill Cosby, who is still ineligible for early release prison release, has not yet made a personal statement.
