‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ Cast Reacts After Production Interrupts Scene & Tells Them Filming Is Shut Down: How You Gon’ Pay Your Bills?
While COVID-19 continues to leave shows out of production, fans saw the moment producers told the cast of VH1’s “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” that the current season would be shut down indefinitely.
In the first scene, the director of “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” gathers the cast and crew to tell them that they have to shut down production immediately as the coronavirus pandemic began to affect the greater Atlanta area.
The director also broke the news to Spice as she was getting her hair and makeup done, Lightskin Keisha and Sierra Gates as they were getting ready to do their confessionals.
The director told the men of “LHHATL” the news as they were in Kirk and Rasheeda Frost’s restaurant. Kirk Frost then asked,
“How we gon’ live? How you gon’ pay your bills bruh? This some bulls**t man we boutta be f***ed up.”

The moment comes after an alleged statement concerning production circulated, claiming that the “Love & Hip Hop” franchise would no longer be filming until further notice due to the pandemic.
The statement reads,
“Due to the 2019-20 coronavirus pandemic, all production on the ‘Love & Hip Hop’ franchise series has been forcibly shut down. This means that ‘Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood’ season 7, the remaining episodes of ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ season 10 and ‘Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta’ season 9 will all be postponed until further notice,” the message continues. “This also applies to ‘Love & Hip Hop: Miami’ season 4. It’s still uncertain when and how production will resume.”
