‘Vanderpump Rules’ Stars Stassi Schroeder & Kristen Doute Fired From Show After Faith Stowers’ Racism Claims
Update #3: (June 9th): Stassi Schroeder and Kristen Doute have reportedly been fired from Vanderpump Rules over the accusations. Neither have yet to release an official statement.
Update #2 (June 9th): Stassi Schroeder has reportedly lost her manager and publicist just days after Faith Stowers, who starred in Bravo’s “Vanderpump Rules” with her, made claims against her. A rep for United Talent Agency (UTA) said the company has parted ways with Stassi Schroeder.
Metro Public Relations also confirmed its decision to no longer work with her and said in a statement,
“She became a client when her publicist joined our company in July 2018. We made the decision this weekend to part ways with Stassi.”
She also lost her partnership with Buzzy shaving brand Billie and vitamin company Ritual, which said in a statement:
“We were not aware of her actions and realize that is unacceptable and part of our responsibility. We have ended our partnership with Stassi, and we are committed to doing more thorough diligence on all our brand partners going forward.”
“We stand against inequality and racial injustice and under no circumstances will standby and promote partnerships that reflect otherwise.”
Original Story: Faith Stowers, former castmate on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules and MTV’s Ex On The Beach, recently revealed her experience being the only black person, on an all-white cast,
“I did a show with an all-white cast. I was the only black person on the show.”
She says that she was always being attacked on the show,
“I felt like after their friend did something that we both were involved in that he’s done like, a thousand times, they wanted to attack me instead of him. They wanted to attack, attack, attack, attack, attack.”
During the Instagram live chat she also says her former castmates would comment on her hair.
“I was wrong, I was this, I was that, calling me names, saying my hair was nappy, which is weird coming out of their mouths.”
While on the show, Faith Stowers says that she was never given the opportunity to share her story of being a black woman in the military during confessional interviews,
“I didn’t have [any confessional interviews], it could be different on their end, but in my opinion, I thought it was weird that everybody on the show got to do interviews and confessionals and I didn’t even get a chance to do that, to tell my story. Which was a very interesting story, being a black woman in the military at the time. At the time I was still in the army. … I didn’t feel like they appreciated that.”
Faith Stowers alleges her former castmates even called the police on her accusing her of being a person in pursuit by police because it was a “black woman with a weave.”
“What made me really want to run for the hills, when Kristen and Stassi decided they were going to call the cops on me.”
After Faith cleared the air on an attempt to have her arrested, two of her former castmates have issued public apologies on their Instagram pages. Stassi Schroeder apologized, and took accountability for her “privilege.”
Kristen Doute also left an apology, saying that her actions were not racially driven, and she’s also embarrassed.

She continued,
“There was this article on Daily Mail where there was an African American lady. It was a weird photo, so she looked very light-skinned and had these different, weird tattoos. They showcased her, and I guess this woman was robbing people. And they called the cops and said it was me. This is like, a true story. I heard this from actually Stassi during an interview.”
