Phaedra Parks Needs Boyfriend Medina To Man Up, He Says Their Biggest Problem Is Intimacy: No Sex, Blue Balls!

Phaedra Parks Says She Needs Boyfriend Medina To Man Up

Phaedra Parks, who’s best known for her role on BRAVO’s ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta, is letting it be known that she needs her boyfriend, actor, Medina Islam, to man up.  On the newest season of ‘Marriage Bootcamp: Hiphop Edition’, Phaedra Parks makes this statement:

“I’m definitely an overachiever because I’m a perfectionist. I need him to, umm, man up.”

The couple, who have been together for nearly a year, share that their relationship could’ve sparked on the dating app that they both were on but Phaedra never replied when Medina initially reached out.  Instead, Medina went the more traditional route and asked a mutual friend of theirs to hook him up with the self-proclaimed Southern Belle attorney.

Medina Islam admits that their biggest issue is intimacy, and not in terms of sex, according to  the OWNS’s “The Haves and The Have Nots” actor, but he’s lacking affection and attentiveness.

While gearing up for her new reality TV role, Phaedra Parks also confessed that she had not had sex with her boyfriend.  She stated,

Medina and I have never had sex.

Many of Phaedra’s fans kept up with her marriage to her ex-husband and father of her two children, Apollo Nida.  Much of their relationship’s demise played out on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’, just before Apollo was imprisoned and served six years in jail for racketeering.

For now, Phaedra, who lives in Atlanta, is making her long distance relationship work with her new man, who’s based in Los Angeles.  She says,

“It’s hard doing the long distance, especially bi-costal because L.A. is a super long flight, outside of just the time difference. But we’ve been making it work! He’s an actor so he’s [in] New York quite a bit, and then he comes to Atlanta, and I get to L.A. to see him as well.”
