Beyonce Releasing ‘Black Is King’ Visual Album
A new Beyonce visual album is on the way! Over the weekend (June 27th), Disney Plus announced her new visual, inspired by “The Lion King”, the album is titled “Black Is King”.
It will premiere on Disney Plus, July 31st and is based on the music of “The Lion King: The Gift”.
It is written, directed and executive produced by Beyonce, featuring Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Pharrell, 070 Shake, Tierra Whack, Jay-Z, Blue Ivy Carter and Jessie Reyez, as well as African artists including Wizkid, Shatta Wale, Burna Boy, Mr Eazi, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Yemi Alade, Busiswa and Salatiel.
