Evelyn Lozada Cries While Alleging Ochocinco Was Abusive More Than Once [VIDEO]
Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson Alludes To Domestic Violence Incident With Evelyn Lozada + She Responds
Update #1: Evelyn Lozada has posted a tearful video, opening up about Chad Ochocinco Johnson’s alleged abuse. She captioned the 5 minute video:
I’m sorry to my kids, my family & friends, my fellow cast-members, their kids & family, the viewers & anyone else I hurt or affected with my actions. I hope & pray my message is received and that this video makes sense. I’m sorry for being so upset but this is HEAVY on my heart. #ILoveAllOfYou In the clip, she seemingly says that Ochocinco was abusive more than one time and that she did not deserve what happened to her. In between tears, she also apologized to the world for her behavior on Basketball Wives.
See the clip below.
Original Story: Chad ‘Ochocinco’ Johnson is reflecting on his past actions, as he responded to social media users request for advice on how to stay positive. On Twitter, a social media user responded to his tweet where he jokingly said how he “loved” his followers and asked a serious question. She asked:
What’s the secret? How do you stay so positive? Was it therapy? Not being funny…really asking for myself
Chad Johnson‘s response to the fan indicated that he did not want to make the same mistakes again and that he took the opportunity to whatever necessary to remain “happy:”
I lost my temper for once in life for 3 seconds & it cost me a lifetimes worth of work, I got it all back plus some after getting a 2nd chance & NOTHING will ever get me out of that happy space again…

This is not the first time that Chad Johnson has cryptically tweeted about his former short-lived marriage to ex Evelyn Lozada. Back in December 2019, he almost made the exact same comment to another fan who also asked how he remained in a positive state of mind:
Sis, i lost my temper for 3 seconds years ago & it cost me a lifetimes worth of work in less than 24 hrs, its REALLY easy to be positive now after getting it all back.

Evelyn Lozada appeared to respond to Ochocinco’s tweet, sharing an image of her battered face and writing “This took longer than 3 seconds”. See her social media posts below.
Evelyn Lozada was married to Chad for just 41 days and filed for divorce from him after the two of them got in an argument that became physical. Evelyn Lozada received stitches in her forehead at a Miami area hospital and the former wide receiver was arrested on misdemeanor domestic battery charges as a result of headbutting her. Not long after this, their reality show that was supposed to be premiering on VH1, ‘Ev & Ocho,’ was shelved and Ochocinco‘s contract with the Miami Dolphins was terminated just 24 hours after the incident made headlines.
