Dwyane Wade’s Daughter Zaya Sports New Look

Dwyane Wade debuted his daughter Zaya’s new vibrant locks Saturday(July 18) in an Instagram post. The 38-year-old father of four posted a photo of his daughter, smiling with her neon blue curls hanging down in the pool, shining against her beautiful melanated skin. He captioned the photo:

“Love wins”

Both Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have been vocal and supportive of Zaya on her transgender journey. Dwyane Wade opened up to Good Morning America host Robin Roberts back in May about how Zaya knew she was trans at just three years old and after doing some research was able to inform her family of her feelings. Dwyane said:

“She went down the list and said, ‘This is how I identify myself: I identify myself as a young lady. I think I’m a straight trans, because I like boys.’ It was a process for us to sit down with our daughter and find out who she is and what she likes and not put something on her. We decided to listen to her and she’s leading us on this journey”

The former NBA player has switched his hair color quite a few times as well. In May, Dwyane Wade debuted his own pink hair in an Instagram post that he plainly captioned with a pink brain emoji.

He also rocked blonde hair in a bathroom selfie posted by wife Gabrielle Union as the couple sported all-black attire, which she captioned:

“Black Black #Juneteenth”
