In April, Ciara gathered her hubby and two kids to have a gender reveal, which confirmed the baby to be a boy.  Baby Wilson will be the first biological boy for Russell Wilson, as Future, Jr. was fathered by Ciara’s ex, “Life Is Good” rapper, FutureRussell has, however, taken on the full-time dad responsibility alongside their shared daughter, Sienna Wilson.

Russell Wilson recently voiced his concern over his family’s health, in light of returning to NFL’s upcoming training camp.  On July 19, the Seahawks Quarterback tweeted,

I am concerned.
My wife is pregnant.
@NFL Training camp is about to start
And there’s still No Clear Plan on Player Health & Family Safety.
We want to play football but we also want to protect our loved ones.

Ciara also recently addressed her pregnancy amid the COVID-19 pandemic during an interview with Vogue. She stated that in the midst of the coronavirus era, she’s left with many unanswered questions.

“Can babies get COVID-19 through the uterus? It’s a big mystery, and we’re some of the most vulnerable beings. Our immune systems are compromised because we can’t take medicine if we get sick in case it affects the baby. If I get ill, I have to let it pass through my body.”

The singer recalled what it was like when her husband of four years had to watch via Facetime as she had a doctor’s appointment.  She recalled,

When the image of the baby came on the screen, I FaceTimed Russ in the car so that he could see. We women carry the baby, but for my husband, being in the room and listening to the heartbeat in real time is one of his ways of connecting. For him not to be part of that was a symbol of this time that we’re living through.”
