Juelz Santana Facing $30K Lien, Accused Of Not Paying Maintenance Fees For New Jersey Condo

Rapper Juelz Santana‘s pockets are taking a hit while he’s serving time. According to Bossip, the Dipset member hasn’t paid monthly maintenance fees on his New Jersey condo for the past two years – naturally, considering Juelz Santana has been incarcerated. But despite his jail time, the Glenpointe Condominium Association has filed to have a lien placed on him.

The lien totals at $33,577 – which is more than $18K in unpaid maintenance fees on the condo purchased in 2005, plus late charges, special assessments, and lawyer fees for the association. This is separate from the foreclosure of another New Jersey home auctioned in 2018. Chase Bank accused his wife Kimbella Vanderhee of refusing to leave the property, which they labeled:

“…illegally taking possession.”

In the meantime, Kimbella just wants her man back home. She launched a petition on Change.org to have him released from his Virginia prison facility due to the COVID-19 outbreak. She wrote,

“#FreeJuelzSantana AKA Laron James needs to be freed during this pandemic to be with his family. He is currently on lockdown for 2 weeks because of the Covid 19 virus outbreak. He has served 13 months at FCI Petersburg and should be allowed to serve the rest of his sentence on home confinement. BOP & Honorable Judge Chesler can make this happen for Laron. He is a good husband, father, son, brother, friend and has a positive media influence as a legendary rap artist. We need you to sign this petition to get Laron James aka Juelz Santana home. “

In December 2018, he was sentenced to 27 months for a weapons charge after he attempted to bring a loaded gun on a flight leaving the Newport Airport. He is scheduled to be released in February of 2021.

So far Juelz Santana hasn’t responded to the lien.
