Rapper Vado Admits He Lost His Cool W/ Tahiry Jose: I Should Have Never Grabbed Her By Her Clothes

Update #2 (July 30th): Rapper Vado is speaking out after a video of him attacking his girlfriend and reality star Tahiry Jose on Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition, went viral online.

He tweeted,

“I get it y’all don’t know me but those data do know at I ‘m 1 of da most humblest mannered person there is. Wit dat being said did I lose my cool? Yes I did cause regardless of what I should had never grabbed her by her clothes.”

Still, he suggested Tahiry Jose was the true “aggressor” as he continued,

“As a man we suppose to protect our lady period… even if they taking ur kindness for weakness but continue to watch da show n u will see who was the aggressor”

Original Story: Tahiry Jose was seen being attacked by her boyfriend Vado in this week’s Marriage Bootcamp: Hip Hop Edition. A new clip came out ahead of the new episode of the show, where the former video vixen is seen having issues with Vado throughout the entire episode. In the compilation of clips, Tahiry Jose and Vado are seen arguing with each other, another clip shows Tahiry throwing a fruit at Vado.

The portion that caused the most controversy was a clip posted by the group’s therapist Dr. Ish Major. In the clip, Tahiry is seen saying to the group,

“I look crazy to y’all I look extra aggressive…”

Before Tahiry could finish her sentence, Vado jumps up and begins to grab Tahiry, luckily Dr. Ish intervened very quickly and reprimands Vado for putting his hands on a woman.

Ever since the clip went viral, Tahiry Jose released a statement ahead of the full episode premiering. In an Instagram post Tahiry wrote,

“First let me say that I’m devastated that this will be shown for the world to see, but I fully understand that I have chosen to live my life (good… bad… and ugly) in front of the camera. Let me be CLEAR for all the people that are saying that this was ‘scripted’ it is NOT! As a women that has already suffered physical abuse at the hands of a man why would I ever want to relive that? There is no check big enough for me to EVER play like that! I appreciate the love & support that I’ve been receiving since this clip was released online. I ask for just a moment of privacy as I figure out the best way to address this publicly in full detail.”
