Nicki Minaj – Judge Grants Husband’s Special Request To Be At Their Baby’s Birth

Update #2 (Aug. 1): Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, will be present when their first child together is born! A judge granted Kenneth Petty’s request Friday (July 31). Now, he can travel with Nicki Minaj for business trips as her manager, and be there when they welcome their child.

Original Story: Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, is reportedly asking a judge per a special request to be present for the birth of he and Nicki’s baby. Kenneth Petty reportedly submitted documents recently asking the judge presiding over his current criminal case to modify the terms of his pretrial release conditions, so that he could travel with Nicki Minaj on business trips as her manager. Most importantly, he is reportedly asking for the release conditions to be modified so that he could be present for the birth of their child.

We previously reported that Kenny had to register as a sex offender in the state of California as he was reportedly arrested for failing to do so when he moved there with Nicki. The terms of his pretrial release includes that Kenneth Petty has a curfew and his travel is restricted to California.

According to reports, Kenny would like for the judge to tweak the release conditions so that if Nicki were to give birth outside of his curfew hours, he could be by her side. So far, Kenny reportedly says that the U.S. Attorney’s Office and pretrial services office aren’t opposed his request, so now it’s up to the judge to sign off.

Nicki Minaj recently announced that she is expecting her first child with Kenny on Instagram. In the caption of the photo she wrote “preggers”.

It looks like she could be giving birth in the next few months as she looks pretty far along in her pregnancy. For months, it’s been speculated that she could be pregnant.
