Kanye West Offers Public Apology To Ex-Wife Kim Kardashian For The ‘Stress’ He’s Caused Her Since Their Split: God Calls Me To Be Stronger

It looks like Kanye “Ye” West is remorseful for the way he’s been treating his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian.

In a recent interview, Kanye West, 45, apologized for causing tension between him and his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, 41. He said,

“This is the mother of my children, and I apologize for any stress that I have caused, even in my frustration, because God calls me to be stronger. I need this person to be less stressed and of the best, sound mind and as calm as possible to be able to raise those children at the end of the day.”

The public apology comes more than two years after the couple’s divorce in February 2021. Since the split, Kanye West has fired off a series of fiery tweets and IG posts that often accuse Kim Kardashian of manipulation and poor parenting. The reality star has previously expressed feeling powerless in response to her ex’s social media attacks.

Kanye West’s rants have also been highly critical of Kim Kardashian’s explicit past with singer Ray J, 41, and her former relationship with actor Pete Davidson, 28.

Because of his influence, Ye’s rants would sometimes lead fans to cyberbully the mother of his children and her family. However, in his interview, the recording artist and entrepreneur spoke against this activity:

“Ain’t nobody else finna be causing no stress either.”

With the apology, he mentioned some of the struggles of co-parenting with Kim Kardashian that possibly led to his online vent sessions:

“I do have a voice, but I had to fight for it. That hurts you when you have to scream about what your kids are wearing.”

Ye went on:

“I’m their dad. It has to be co-parenting. It’s not up to only the woman. Like, men have a choice also. Men’s voices matter.”

He specifically referred to using his “voice” to help decide where his kids go to school. Ye said he “absolutely” wants his children to attend Donda Academy — a Christian private school. He named the school after Donda West, his late mother, who chaired the Department of English, Communications, Media Arts, and Theatre at Chicago State University on Chicago’s South Side. As previously reported, Ye claimed Kim didn’t want their children to attend his school.
