Mariah Carey’s Estranged Sister Alison Carey Sues Mother, Alleges She Was Sexually Abused As A Child In Satanic Rituals
Alison Carey, the estranged older sister of pop superstar Mariah Carey, has made some eyebrow-raising accusations. She has officially filed documents with the New York Supreme Court accusing their mother of knowingly allowing Alison Carey to engage in sexual acts with adult men when she was just 10 years old. According to reports, the documents were filed in February 2020 and make numerous allegations against the Carey sisters’ mother, former opera singer Patricia Carey.

Alison Carey alleges this abuse, as well as the alleged abuse of other young children, is what caused her to abuse drugs to block out the experiences and allegedly is the reason for her post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) diagnosis. She also alleges that she suffers with anxiety and depression and has had to seek out professional counseling. The legal documents reportedly say:
Plaintiff now demands compensatory money damages for immense psychological and physical damage, mental pain and anguish, and intentional infliction of severe emotional distress.
Alison, who has reportedly worked as a prostitute in the past and has allegedly been diagnosed with HIV, claims the abuse she endured occurred during alleged “middle-of-the-night satanic worship meetings that included ritual sacrifices” and her mother allegedly allowed her to see adult males participating in
“sexual acts including forcible touching and sexual assault in the first degree.”
She does not provide a specific timeline of this alleged abuse and appears to be representing herself as there is no attorney named to represent her.
Although this alleged abuse happened decades ago, Alison‘s filings were entered under the Child Victims Act because it does waive the statute of limitations on cases involving sex with underage individuals. Additionally, Alison made claims during a 2018 interview that an unnamed family member would take her to early morning occult gatherings. She said at the time that she did not say anything because she was threatened:
Terrible things would happen – things that a child should never see. I was sexually abused there. They told me that if I didn’t do what they told me or if I told them what was going on they would harm Mariah.
Patricia Carey has not responded to the complaint and no word yet on how the case will potentially proceed. Mariah Carey has also not made any public comment on her older sister’s claims.
