Timbaland Reacts To A Possible Verzuz Battle Between Whitney Houston & Mariah Carey: This Is A Good Match But We Have Other Plans For Mariah
Super producer Timbaland has seen immense success with the Verzuz battles that he and fellow producer Swizz Beatz have coordinated. They have been a great way for the dueling artists to appreciate one another’s hits and celebrate music.
Now, Timbaland is responding to a suggested battle between Mariah Carey and the late Whitney Houston. He suggested something else is in the works for MC and asked her super-producer Jermaine Dupri about his opinion.
“This is a good match but me and @therealswizzz have other plans for @mariahcarey@jermainedupri any thoughts “

Timbaland also posted another potential Verzuz, this time between two late rap legends, Tupac Shakur and the Notorious B.IG. . When presented with this idea Timbaland wrote,
“Imagine this!!!!! @verzuztv Btw this was n my timeline I believe this is not accurate but imagine this verzuz”

This latest Verzuz news comes as fans of rapper and actor Shad “Bow Wow” Moss have taken to his defense after Timbaland accused him of not being qualified for the Instagram competition. Amid social media conversation about the 33-year-old’s cultural impact, Bow Wow wrote,
“Yo! @Timbaland said i might not have 20 songs to do a verzuz… i LAUGHED”

Bow Wow’s mentor Jermaine Dupri challenged Timbaland’s claims by letting the stats speak for themselves. JD posted a list of Bow Wow’s Billboard #1 hits with the following caption:
“What we talking about ???????”
