OWN’s ‘Black Love’ docu-series is causing some controversy on twitter, as some social media users are pointing out that the trailer for the new season is allegedly perpetuating colorism. The trailer for Season 4 recently debuted, however something deeper caused a conversation to erupt on social media about the trailer.

We are so divided as a ppl it is pathetic. The old are divided from the young, male vs female, & now light skin vs dark skin. Instead of focusing on commonalities we obsess over differences. Unity is nowhere in sight & it is so unfortunate.
