Doja Cat Announces New Song Called ‘N.A.S.’
Rapper Doja Cat says that new music from her is on the way! But does she have a message for rapper Nas?
During her Instagram Live on Thursday (August 20), she said she’s releasing a song called “N.A.S.”
“I think it’s funny that my song is called N.A.S….the song that I have coming out is called N.A.S. but only if you abbreviate. It’s three words. Because that was before the fact, you know. If you know what I’m talking about you know what I’m talking about.”
“We goin’ ultra black, unapologetically black
The opposite of Doja Cat, Michael Blackson black”
The lyrical shot appears to refer to previous reports of Doja Cat allegedly participating in conversations held in what appeared to be white supremacist chat rooms.

After receiving much backlash, she released an apology:
“I want to address what’s been happening on Twitter. I’ve used public chat rooms to socialize since I was a child. I shouldn’t have been on some of those chat room sites, but I personally have never been involved in any racist conversations. I’m sorry to everyone that I offended. I’m a black woman. Half of my family is black from South Africa and I’m very proud of where I come from.”
