Chris Rock is giving a different explanation of why comedienne Tiffany Haddish shaved her head earlier this year.

During a virtual appearance on Ellen this week, Chris Rock opened up about being a part of Dave Chappelle’s “Chappelle Summer Camp” shows in Yellow Springs, Ohio. Dave Chappelle hosted heavy-hitting comedians for a new special, but things came to an end on Sept. 25th after reports of someone in Dave Chappelle’s “inner circle” possibly being exposed to COVID-19.

Now, Chris Rock is opening up about his, and other comedians’, time there.

“I was trying to be nice ’cause your show’s on in the daytime, but we do lots of drugs. Not the hard stuff. We’re like before coke. There’s a lot of weed — there’s way more weed than anyone should ever have — and there’s a lot of mushrooms.”

He said Chappelle allegedly went as far as hiring a “weed/mushroom chef” for the guests, which he claimed served as a factor of Tiffany Haddish cutting her hair.

“Tiffany Haddish drank the mushroom tea and cut her hair the next day. I know she likes to act like, ‘Oooh, Common told me he loved me with no hair.’ No no, it was the mushroom tea talking.”

Tiffany Haddish gave a different reason for the big change and previously said:

“I’ve always wanted to do it.  For years I’ve been talking about cutting my hair, and you know, this whole quarantine and everything made me think like, ‘Well why not now?’  I’m not gonna be on any red carpets, and if I do have to be on something, they’re always putting me in wigs anyways.  And the wigs sit better.’”

She continued:

“I wanted to know what I look like from my head to toe, like, who am I from head to toe.  You know, every religion talks about knowing thyself, and I know where all my moles are except the ones on my head, and now I know I got two moles on my head.”
