Dolly Parton Says She’s ‘In Talks’ To Pose For Playboy Magazine For Her 75th Birthday
Dolly Parton revealed on Saturday (Oct.3) that she’s in talks with Playboy to appear in the magazine to celebrate her 75th birthday. The 74-year-old singer and actress posed on the cover of Playboy back in October 1978. This weekend, Dolly was asked if appearing in the magazine was part of her 75th birthday plans. Dolly said,
“Yeah, I just might do it, if I can do it in good taste and they want it [and] we’ll do it along with a really good interview inside. So, yeah, we’ve talked about it.”
The legendary country music singer just released her first Christmas album in 30 years on Friday (Oct.2). The album is titled, “A Holly Dolly Christmas” and includes collaborations with Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, and Michael Bublé.
In August, Dolly Parton made headlines when spoke about her thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement. In the interview, she expressed her “unequivocal” support of the Black Lives Matter movement, stating,
“I understand people having to make themselves known and felt and seen. And of course black lives matter. Do we think our little white asses are the only ones that matter? No!”
