Marques Houston Wants A ‘Sister, Sister’ Reboot As Show Makes Most-Streamed List
Marques Houston is looking to capitalize on the viral success of popular sitcom Sister, Sister.
The show, which started streaming on Netflix on Sept. 1, quickly made its way into the top 10 of Nielsen’s most-streamed list for the week of Sept. 7 to Sept. 13, according to Variety.

‘Sister, Sister’ cast Tamera Mowry, Marques Houston, Tia Mowry, Tim Reid, Jackée Harry
Marques Houston starred in the show as Roger, the neighbor, and close friend to lead characters Tia Landry (played by Tia Mowry) and Tamera Campbell (played by Tamera Mowry). Jackeé Harry and Tim Reid also starred in the series that aired for six seasons from 1994 to 1999.
Marques Houston reacted to the show having stream-worthy success and asked on Twitter:
“Reboot?”

Unfortunately for fans who feel the same as Marques Houston, Tia Mowry-Hardrict explained recently why a reboot isn’t likely. She said during an interview with Tamron Hall last year:
“We tried. We tried to do it but some rights and stuff kind of got into the way… Legalities is why and it makes me sad.”
Tamera Mowry-Housley shared her thoughts on a possible reboot earlier this year.
“We would love to see a Sister, Sister reunion, but timing is everything and the material has to be 100% right, otherwise what would be the point. The show is iconic so the reboot needs to be amazing or we need to leave it alone.”
