Nene Leakes Sends A Cryptic Message: Never Underestimate How Far A Jealous Person Will Go To Destroy You

Nene Leakes has been outspoken about her life since announcing her exit from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” And her latest social media messages are no different.

She shared a series of cryptic posts about friendships and jealousy on Instagram and Twitter Tuesday night (Oct. 13th).

In one post she uploaded a photo that reads:

“Never underestimate how far a jealous person will go to destroy you.”

She told her fans and followers in the caption:

“Just putting y’all up on game  (it’s just a quote so don’t read nothing extra into it. Take it for what it’s worth) Now Bye”

In the comments, she made it clear she wasn’t talking about her friend and reality star Marlo Hampton.

Nene Leakes replied to a commenter who asked if the two were still friends and said:

“NO! We are sisters #morethanfriends”

She clarified in another post:

“Looking at yall comments! Boy people are quick to read something into nothing! I’m focus and in my bag! I promise you that.”

While she told her fans not to read too much into her cryptic posts, she also took to Twitter for a similar message.

She wrote:

“I don’t know who needs to hear this but…You can’t be friends with someone who wants your life. Sis, she’s only around for that reason”
Nene Leakes has been vocal about what caused her exit from Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” She recently explained that the network wanted to cut down her appearances to six episodes.

She told Tamron Hall:

“They offered six episodes…[I normally do] 18-23… My salary would not be reduced.”

She added:

“Basically, what happened is over the past four years I have felt very forced out. I have felt my role was being diminished. Every year they would give me less and less and less episodes. And every year, people would say ‘Nene’s holding out…’ It wasn’t me that was holding out. I was just trying to understand why I was being given less and less and less every season from a show that I helped to become successful.”

Do you think Nene was referring to anyone specific in her latest posts? Comment and let us know.
