Model Jessica White Reveals She’s Had ‘Multiple Miscarriages’

Model Jessica White shared on social media that she’s had to cope with heartbreaking and numerous miscarriages. On Thursday (October 15), the 36-year-old posted a sweet and supportive message on her Instagram to women who can relate to having lost babies, born and unborn:

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day. For years, women felt like they needed to hide their sorrow and grieve in silence. We are finally sharing our stories and sharing our love. This helps mothers know that they are not alone and allows us to speak about our child who we love, who is part of us, who is part of our family. If you have experienced this loss, I hope you do not feel alone today.

She continued in her caption:

Honoring all the incredibly brave women who like myself have suffered from multiple miscarriages. I honor you and see you and overstand your pain. May our babies who have passed on protect our next creation of life. God bless you. Love~Jessica white

Sadly, miscarriages are very common in the United States and other celebrities have also made headlines regarding their revelations of their own experiences with them. Recently, singer John Legend and his wife model and “Lip Sync Battle” co-host Chrissy Teigen decided to share the unfortunate news of their miscarriage of their unborn baby boy whom they had named Jack. Chrissy Teigen posted a series of photos, including one of her holding the baby as John Legend sat directly by her side. In part of the caption she posted beneath the heart-wrenching photos, she explained some of the circumstances and said that little Jack had tried his hardest to come into the world:

We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and bags of blood transfusions. It just wasn’t enough.

Jack worked so hard to be a part of our little family, and he will be, forever. I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.

Another well-known celebrity, Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Porsha Williams, has also recently shared that she had a miscarriage prior to the March 2019 birth of her daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley.

She said:

Six years ago I suffered from a miscarriage at home alone. It was something I really haven’t spoken about openly to this extent. The point is if I were to have talked about it to other women or been more open I would have realized that it is okay. It’s about releasing all of that and having another woman tell you ‘I’ve been through this. I survived.’ And I’m willing to use my story to help other women.
