[VIDEO] Anthony Anderson & Tracee Ellis Ross Talk ‘Black-Ish’ + Evan’s New Wife, Ashlee Simpson
This week (September 30th) the hilarious Anthony Anderson and Tracee Ellis Ross stopped by The Wendy Williams Show to talk about their new sitcom Black-ish. In addition to chatting about the new ABC show, Tracee sorta-kinda gives Wendy the inside scoop on her brothers wedding to Ashlee Simpson.
Anthony explained how the concept of Black-Ish was created:
We sat down about a year ago and found out that we have much more in common than we don’t. We were talking about our wives and our children and how they were born into this privileged lifestyle and that’s what it is and that’s what this show is born out of, so what you see on the screen is actually our lives, you know.
When Wendy probed about Ashlee Simpson’s wedding to Tracee’s brother, Evan, she revealed very little, but noted:
You know what, seriously, they’re so in love, it’s so beautiful and it’s really amazing to have your little brother marry a woman that loves him so much and that he loves. It was, truly it’s a lovely thing. Other that that Wendy, I don’t know all this other stuff, I don’t know.
