Nicki Minaj & Drake’s Alleged Fallout Ends, After She Asks For Playdate On ‘Whole Lotta Choppas’ Remix [New Music]

Nicki Minaj Raps About Wanting A Playdate Between Her Child And Drake’s Son Adonis – Drake Responds
Things seem to be looking up for on-again-off-again friends Nicki Minaj and Drake. Nicki Minaj, born Onika Tanya Maraj, recently dropped a remix with Sada Baby for his viral dance song ‘Whole Lotta Choppas.’ In the song, the new mom rapped the following line
‘to be honest I hope one day we do a play-date with Adonis’
referencing her own son one day playing with Drake’s son Adonis who just recently turned 3-years-old. Drake responded to Nicki’s verse and posted a screenshot of her latest remix to his Instagram story. He captioned the photo
“Playdate coming soon @NickiMinaj”

Drake also followed Nicki Minaj on Instagram as well.

Nicki Minaj, Drake
At one point in time, Drake and Nicki Minaj definitely seemed to be inseparable. However, over time the closeness between the two rappers faded away. In 2016 Drake shared that he stopped speaking to Nicki Minaj. He said,
“I don’t really talk to Nick. Again, another person that I have a lot of love for and a lot of respect, not only for our past and how much work and time we put in, but even just the way she dealt with the situation [regarding Birdman and Lil Wayne] at hand.”
At the time Nicki Minaj was dating Drake’s then-enemy, rapper Meek Mill. Drake also added,
“I always have respect and love for Nicki, and unfortunately we haven’t spoke, but it is what it is, even if we don’t speak, she knows what it is, it’s always love.”
In 2019 while on her radio show Queen Radio, Nicki Minaj shared a remix she did to Drake and Meek Mill‘s song ‘Going Bad.’ In her version of her song she appeared to have taken shots at Drake by rapping
“Oh boy, my brother tried to end me.”
