Lark Voorhies AKA Lisa Turtle To Appear In ‘Saved The Bell’ Revival
It looks like Saved By The Bell actress Lark Voorhies will be apart of the series’ revival after all.
Lark Voorhies played Lisa Turtle for many seasons on the popular ’80s series. Earlier this year, she said she was not invited to be a part of the reboot of the show, set to air on NBCUniversal’s streaming service, Peacock.
But according to NBC’s streaming service Peacock, Lark Voorhies will be featured on the reboot, showing Lisa Turtle “thriving” in the field of fashion. No word on how many episodes Lark will appear on.

In 2012, Lark Voorhies’ mom Tricia Voorhies announced that the actress was suffering from bipolar disorder, though Lark denied the diagnosis.
During a recent interview she announced to the world what her actual condition is, labeling it as Schizoaffective Thought Disorder. It is a mental health disorder that can cause schizophrenia, hallucinations or delusions, mood disorder symptoms, or even depression and mania. Lark also added that she has been in treatment for over a year.
Lark and her mother sat down with Dr. Mehemet Oz to discuss her condition and the reboot. On the show, she read a journal entry expressing her disappointment in not being invited to participate in the new “Saved By the Bell:”
“It reads – this is a question to the reunion. I have to admit I did feel a bit slighted and hurt when I was not invited to be part of the ‘Saved by the Bell’ reunion, as well as other cast members’ events. Yet of course, I also realized that having this puzzling disorder may have played a major part in that factual decision.”

Lark Voorhies, 45, continued:
“With that in mind, I am truly thankful for having had the chance to work on a show that has been so successful…They have the right to do that and they’re happy in their element and they can have it, certainly.”
When asked if she wanted to be included she said:
“Well, yes. Family isn’t kept complete without its lead.”
Saved By The Bell reboot premieres on Peacock on Nov. 25.
