Pam Long Of Total Says She Lied About Sexual Assault Claims Against Ex-Husband Jamie Long: I’m Sorry For The Shame I Brought To Your Name

Pam Long formerly of R&B group Total has been very vocal speaking her truth on her marriage to her ex-husband Jamie Long, who is currently married Cyntoia Brown-Long.

In the past, Pam Long has exposed Jamie Long publicly, claiming he was allegedly abusive to her.

Now it seems as though Pam Long is having a change of heart on some of her accusations, and has issued a public apology to Jamie Long and his family.  In a video on Instagram she says,

“I come before you today with deep regrets concerning a statement that I’m about to make.  On October the 20th, 2019 for my show Pam’s World, I made a comment about my ex-husband Jamie Long.  And that comment was that he forces himself on women, and right after that I said ‘do you remember that night?’  Basically I was telling the world that my ex-husband forced himself on me sexually, and that was a lie.”

She continued,

“Jamie I’m sorry for what it is that I have said about you.  I’m sorry for the shame that I have brought to your name, to your family, to you, your wife, your mom, your sister, and those who love you.”

Adding,

“Also to my family, my church family, to my friends, to those who love me who had no idea that this was a lie that I said concerning Jamie. I ask that you forgive me as well. Jamie I’m sorry and I know sorry does not make up for what I have said. But I ask that you will find it in your heart to forgive me for what I have done to you and your family.”

It seems as though Pam’s fans were not convinced by the apology video and her comments were filled with the belief that it was a forced statement.  Read some of the comments below:

“This man is diabolical and he is such a manipulator. The way this man pursued this woman is the way he did me.He came and found me using the same card, ‘He was a Christian artist.’ May the Lord God protect her and her money. It’s about who she is in the public eye and what she has. By her having this face in the media it helps him to have a chance to be around what he deems as the elites. Mr. Long may be able to hide behind his handsome looks of being a good man, but God knows the heart and exposure is coming.”

Jamie and Brown-Long have since responded. Jamie said,

“I think it was very selfish. I don’t know if she’s trying to reinvent her career, I don’t know what she’s trying to do. I think it was very selfish of her to do that. We’re serious about what we’re doing, we’re serious about the message. You know I’ve been divorced from Pam almost four, five years man. I didn’t even see her that much when we were married.”

Cynthia Brown-Long has also previously denied Pamela’s claims that he’s using her because when they first met and got married, Brown was still and jail and they had no idea that Brown would actually be released.

Jamie also said:

“I was married before. And I married the wrong woman. I had the right intentions but I married the wrong woman, and I wasn’t doing that no more. Sometimes the counterfeit comes before the real thing. And we fall for the counterfeit sometimes. This time I know I got it right. This is my best friend.”
