Boosie Says His Interview W/ Mike Tyson Was ‘Weird’ + Boxer’s Daughter ‘Walked Out’ After They ‘Didn’t See Eye To Eye’

Boosie has lots to say about his recent sit down with Mike Tyson that went viral.

During a recent taping of his podcast, “Hotboxin’ with Mike Tyson,” Mike Tyson confronted Boosie over some of his controversial statements he made about the transgender community, and Dwyane Wade’s 13-year-old transgender daughter Zaya.

During the podcast taping, Mike Tyson asked Boosie,

“Why do you say things about people who might be a homosexual? Why do you say that about them?”

Tyson also questioned if there was a chance Boosie was homosexual himself, causing him to disrespect others.

“Do you feel there’s a possibility that you’re a homosexual and by disrespecting them it furthers yourself from being a homosexual? I’m thinking you may like homosexuals.”

Boosie denied that he was homosexual, and the two seemed to end the interview on good terms.

After the conversation aired, Tyson revealed that it was his daughter who pressed him to ask Boosie about the controversial topic. Tyson adds that his daughter traveled to meet the rapper face to face.

“My daughter, she flew all the way from New York City to Los Angeles, California where I’m at just to be there because she thought Boosie was so disrespectful she had to confront him.”

In a new interview, Boosie says that his discussion with Tyson had a weird vibe, and adds that the boxer was very passionate about the topic.

“So when I got there, we got the interviewing you know it seemed like he was passionate about that situation like he he kept going back to that situation. I’m like telling them, I don’t agree with it you know. But the interview was weird bro it was weird. They took a lot of stuff out the interview but he was he seemed like he was passionate about it.”

Boosie also says that after the interview was over Tyson’s daughter wanted to ask Boosie a round of questions as well.

“And after that his daughter came in and she’s like ‘Dad i want to interview him. I want to ask him some questions right now.’ I say come on, come on.”

Boosie says that she begins to ask him about the people he is offending with his comments, he says that when she asked him a question, he asked her a question in return about what’s going on in the Black community.

“Let me tell you what she on. ‘Do you know what’s going on in the transgender world right now, and do you know how many people are committing suicide and dying?’ So I would tell her ‘Do you know what’s going on with Black people right now? We’re getting shot down, they got so many single mothers out there.’ And when she would shoot that at me I would shoot that at her.

He continued:

So basically she was saying the things that she was passionate about and I was saying the things that I was passionate about and she couldn’t feel me. I guess she was saying I couldn’t feel her but I was telling her I have no ill will towards that. I was telling her you’re talking about that, well I’m talking about this also, I feel like this is a bigger subject that’s close to my heart.”

Boosie says that there was no resolve between him and Boosie’s daughter and she walked out of the room.
