Rapper Boosie Badazz has reportedly been shot in the leg during a trip to Dallas, Texas. On Saturday (Nov.14), it was reported that the shooting took place at Big T’s Plaza in Oak Cliff, a neighborhood in South Dallas. Reportedly, someone opened fire on Boosie’s sprinter van while in the parking lot of Big T’s Plaza. The Louisiana rapper was allegedly hit below the knee. Boosie and his crew then went to a nearby hospital. Sources say his injury appears to be non-life threatening. Someone posted a video of the parking lot where the incident took place, claiming Boosie was not shot. However, sources later confirmed that Boosie was in fact sht and is a patient being treated for an injury.

The Dallas Police Department told sources that officers later arrived on the scene after receiving reports of an armed incident on Saturday, where callers said someone had been shot and then fled in a private vehicle. However, when the police got there, there was no evidence that a crime had taken place.

The shooting comes just days after Dallas rapper Mo3 was shot and killed while on a Dallas freeway. Boosie was in town to attend a vigil for Mo3 on Friday night (Nov.13).

Reportedly, the incident began as the victim was traveling on northbound I-35E at Clarendon Drive just before 12 p.m. on Wednesday Nov. 11.  The suspect got out of his car and approached Mo3‘s car when the rapper is said to have gotten out of his car to escape on foot.  That’s when the gunman let off several rounds, reportedly shooting Mo3 in the back of the head where he was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later. The rapper was most known for his 2019 collaboration with Boosie Badazz on “Errybody” (Remix).

We’re praying Boosie has a speedy recovery!
