Lil Wayne Calls Out Grammys After Snub: Am I Not Worthy?!
Rapper Lil Wayne says that he feels a certain way when he isn’t invited to the Grammy’s. The rapper took to Twitter to express to his fans that whenever he isn’t invited to the Grammy’s it makes him question if he is worth being there. He writes,
“As an artist, when I see da Grammys coming up & I’m not involved nor invited; I wonder. Is it me , my musik, or just another technicality? I look around w respect & wonder competitively am I not worthy?! Then I look around & see 5 Grammys looking bak at me & I go to the studio.”

His fans began weighing in on reasons why they either support him or lost respect for him, after he endorsed Trump, leaving no sympathy.

The Grammys are scheduled for Jan. 31 and Lil Wayne wasn’t nominated. It also looks like he wasn’t invited. Still, the biggest night in music isn’t Wayne’s biggest problem right now as he was recently hit with a federal weapons charge, according to reports.
The U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Florida has reportedly charged Lil Wayne with 1 count of possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. This incident in question is nearing one year, where federal agents searched the private plane at Miami-Opa Locka Executive Airport that Lil Wayne was a passenger in, and discovered guns and drugs.
Initially, Wayne’s attorney, Howard, Srebnick, stated that he was “cleared” to leave, but he’s now found himself face to face with serious legal issues because the feds reportedly believe that Wayne was, in fact, wrongfully in possession.
After the December 2019 incident, the Young Money rapper took to his social media to address the situation. He wrote,
All goody! I think they thought I was talking abt a different “Pack” in my last tweet. But anyway GO PACK GO!!!
This appears to be the tweet he was referencing:

Lil Wayne faces up to 10 years in prison if he’s convicted. He is scheduled to appear in court next month.
