Kim Kardashian Reportedly Hasn’t Filed For Divorce Yet For The Sake Of Their Kids

There have been months of speculation that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were headed for divorce after six years of marriage and almost eight years together.

But it seems as though the couple, who first announced their relationship back in April 2012, might be officially splitting soon. The only alleged delay is that Kim Kardashian is reportedly trying to figure out the best solution for their kids. The couple has four kids together – North West, 7, Saint West, 5, Chicago West, 2, and Psalm West, 20 months.

A source close to the family says that they have not spent time together as a couple. They told E!:

“It’s gotten to the point where they haven’t spent time together as a married couple in months. They’ve seen each other for the sake of the kids but have been living separately. Kim knows the marriage is over. She’s known for a while.”

The source says that Kim Kardashian hasn’t filed for divorce yet because of their children.

“She wants to make sure she’s making the right decision for the kids.”

Adding,

“It’s not about the marriage anymore, she’ll always care for Kanye but it’s over between them. Kim is only focused on what’s best for the kids. It’s a tough decision for her and she’s figuring it out.”

The news comes after reports spread that Kim Kardashian is hiring divorce attorney to the stars, Laura Wasser. A source claims,

“They are keeping it low-key but they are done. Kim has hired Laura Wasser and they are in settlement talks.”

The source claims,

“She is serious about taking the bar exam and becoming a lawyer, she is serious about her prison reform campaign. Meanwhile Kanye is talking about running for president and saying other crazy s–t, and she’s just had enough of it.”

Back in July, Kim went public with Kanye West‘s mental health after Kanye sent out a series of Twitter messages about her and their family. She confirmed that he had bipolar disorder and she asked for compassion from fans.
