Ciara Reveals That She Had To Wear A Face Mask While Giving Birth To Son Win Harrison: This Is Crazy, I’m Having To Deliver A Baby With A Mask

Ciara is sharing what it was like giving birth amid the coronavirus pandemic. American entertainer Ciara and her husband Russell Wilson welcomed their youngest child together, Win Harrison, on July, 23rd 2020. According to Ciara, she was required to wear a face mask during her entire delivery process. She shared that even when her mask slipped down a little bit her doctor was adamant that the mask be adjusted correctly. She said,

“My obstetrician, who’s delivered all my babies, was not playing any games about this COVID. I literally made my first push with Win and then he was like, ‘She needs a mask on. Get a mask on.’ It happened so fast, so I still had my mask [down]. But he was like, ‘Oh, no, no. She gon’ put that mask on.’”

The mother of 3 also shared that she experienced no issues with breathing with her mask. However, it was still pretty bizarre to have to wear a face-covering while giving birth. She said,

“My mask was pretty good. I could still breathe alright through it, so that was good. But it was like, ‘Wow. This is crazy. I’m having to deliver a baby with a mask. What in the world?’”

Ciara and Russell Wilson had their daughter, Sienna Princess, 3½ years ago. She shares her oldest son, Future Zahir, with rap star Future.
