Future’s Manager Says A Verzuz Battle Against Travis Scott Isn’t Happening
Update #2 (Jan. 21st): The potential Verzuz battle between Travis Scott and Future made waves on the internet as fans and critics reacted earlier this week. But now, Future’s manager has shut down reports and stated that news of them going head to head in the popular virtual challenge is false.
He tweeted in response to reports,
“I love Verzuz but this isn’t true”

Original Story (Jan. 19th): We’re currently waiting on the Ashanti and Keyshia Cole Verzuz battle and rumors have already started on who the next matchup could be. According to reports, Travis Scott and Future will be the next pair of rappers to face off in a Verzuz showdown. Recently news broke that Timbaland, who is a co-creator of Verzuz, and his team are working on securing Travis Scott and Future for a hit battle of their own. TV personality DJ Akademiks shared a post to his Instagram page that claims Timbaland’s manager is the source of the potential Travis Scott and Future Verzuz battle.

Even though Future and Travis Scott are both two big rap stars, there seem to be mixed reviews over the pair teaming up for a battle to showcase their hits. Many fans took to Twitter to express that they feel the matchup is unfair because Future has been in the game longer which gives him more hits. Future’s, 37, rap career launched in the early 2000s, while 28-year-old Travis Scott’s career started around 2012. The battle still hasn’t been confirmed by either rapper yet but it seems most people already have Future for the win.
