Kim Kardashian Lashes Out At Doubters Who Say North West, 7, Didn’t Really Paint Viral Picture: Don’t Play With Me When It Comes To My Kids!

Update #2 (Feb. 10th): Kim Kardashian is blasting critics who reacted to a recent painting from her daughter North West, 7.

Kim Kardashian took to Instagram to slam those who doubted her oldest child was really the artist of a painting that went viral after she was compared to a famous painter, Bob Ross. 

She wrote,

“DON’T PLAY WITH ME WHEN IT COMES TO MY CHILDREN!!!”

She continued,

“My daughter and her best friend have been taking a serious oil painting class where their talents and creativity are being nurtured. North worked incredibly hard on her painting which took several weeks to complete.”

She added,

“As a proud mom, I wanted to share her work with everyone. I’m seeing op-ed pieces in the media and social media from grown adults breaking down whether or not my child actually painted this! How dare you see children doing awesome things and then try to accuse them of NOT being awesome!?!?!”

She continued,

“Please setop embarrassing yourselves with the negativity and allow every child to be GREAT!!! NORTH WEST PAINTED THAT PERIODT!”

Original Story (Feb. 9th): Kim Kardashian’s 7-year-old daughter North West is an artist! This week, the 8-year-old mom of four, showed off a painting that North did. She captioned it,

My little artist North.

Immediately after the post began to go viral, social media users began comparing North to Bob Ross.

Bob Ross was a painter, art instructor and television host. He was the creator and host of The Joy of Painting, an instructional television program that aired from 1983 to 1994 on PBS in the United States and in Canada, Latin America and Europe. Ross subsequently became widely known via his internet presence.
