Meek Mill has another response after getting major criticism for his controversial lyric referencing Kobe Bryant’s fatal helicopter crash.
As previously reported, a Meek Mill verse from a song with Lil Baby surfaced online earlier this week. He raps in the song,
“And if I ever lack I’m going out with my chopper, it be another Kobe.”
It didn’t take long for fans to jump to the late NBA legend’s defense, prompting a response from Meek Mill on Twitter.

Now, he’s saluting Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna Bryant, who also died in the tragic crash.
He shared a photo of a hat on Instagram that reads,
“RIP Kobe & GiGi”
He added the caption,
“The gang way? “Hats not forsale””
