Kanye West’s Mental Health Struggle Won’t Impact Custody Agreement Amid Divorce
Now that Kim Kardashian has officially filed for divorce from Kanye West, the details of their split are also making headlines.
According to TMZ, the Good Life rapper’s very public mental health struggle won’t play a factor in Kim Kardashian wanting to share custody of their four kids.
Insiders said Kim Kardashian trusts Kanye West with their children, and that caretakers or family members are pretty much always present as well. They added that Kanye West is an amazing father and has taken trips with just him and the children, with no extra help.
Kim Kardashian has reportedly requested joint legal and physical custody, so she and Kanye West will decide the terms should a judge grant her petition.
Reports of Kim Kardashian filing for divorce swirled Friday, Feb. 19th.
Kim and Kanye married in 2013 and share four children, North, Chicago, Psalm, and Saint. This will be Kim’s third divorce and Kanye’s first. She split from music producer Damon Thomas in 2004. She married and divorced Kris Humphries in 2011 after 72 days.
