Prince Harry ‘Embarrassed’ And ‘Regretful’ After Oprah Interview, Royal Insider Claims
Could Prince Harry really be ashamed about his and Meghan Markle‘s interview with Oprah?
As you may recall, the estranged royals sat down with Oprah earlier this year. In the highly-anticipated, tell-all interview, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made claims of racism within the royal family. Specifically, the couple claimed that there were ‘concerns and conversations’ over their then-unborn son’s complexion.
Now, however, an insider close to the royals, Duncan Larcombe, is claiming that he has “no doubt” Prince Harry is regretting his decision to air his family’s dirty laundry. For context, Duncan Larcombe served as a royal editor for 10 years and authored Prince Harry: The Inside Story. He is also described as a ‘royal expert.’
Duncan Larcombe specifically told Closer that:
“Harry was clearly hurt and angry about Meghan’s experience with the royals – and used the interview to get it out. But after returning home, I’ve no doubt he’s been feeling embarrassed, regretful and awkward.”
Larcombe also made claims pertaining to Harry’s character, stating:
“He’s a hot-headed guy, he acts on his emotions.”
Additionally, Larcombe speculated on how Harry reuniting with his family for Prince Philip‘s funeral earlier this month also had an impact on him. Larcombe claims:
“I’ve heard Harry was feeling numb heading back to LA. You could see in his face at the funeral that he was torn. He didn’t think he’d have to face his family so soon – and when he did, he had mixed emotions.”
He continued,
“Coming home has reminded him of everything he’s sacrificed in recent years – and of the recent damage done.”
Prince Harry has not made any statements of regret himself, but the royal insider adamantly believes that he is indeed feeling some type of way after the interview.
