‘Married To Medicine’ Star Dr. Heavenly Faces Backlash For Advising Fans To ‘Work For Free’ To Prove Themselves To Employers
Married To Medicine star Dr. Heavenly Kimes is currently in the hot seat for sharing her controversial opinions on employment. On June 8, Dr. Heavenly Kimes took to her Twitter account and fired off a series of tweets to give employment tips to her followers. During her career advice Twitter session, she said people should be willing to work for free sometimes to prove themselves to their employer. She tweeted,
“#Job101 work for free or for lesser pay. Prove yourself to your employer! Trust me if you are good, they will hire you with top pay in no time! #HeavenHelpUs #DrHeavenly #married2med”

It didn’t take long for people to call the reality star out for missing the mark. One Twitter user said Dr. Heavenly Kime’s advice didn’t make any sense. However, Heavenly stood by her tweet and replied,
“Yes it does !! . If you are not working you come to a place you’d love to work tell them you will work for free!! And you prove to be the best thing they have ever had!!! They will hire you! Problem is if you don’t have the self confidence or skill set to pull it off .”

Another Twitter user accused the well-known dentist of promoting modern-day slavery. However, Heavenly disagreed and said,
“Nope I’m trying to help you get a job!! Chances are your not doing anything anyway… probably collecting unemployment… why not prove yourself for the job you want! Think!!! However closed minded people will never get ahead”

Two days later, on June 10, Heavenly was still standing by her controversial ‘work for free or for lesser pay’ comment and shared that out of all the job tips she’s offered her fans so far, that one was the best.

Many people disagreed with Heavenly’s remarks and took to Twitter to share their thoughts.
