Safaree Samuels Sparks Criticism After Claiming ‘I’m Starting My Skin Bleaching Process Today’

While Safaree Samuels battles it out in court with his estranged wife, his alleged aspirations for a new appearance is garnering criticism from social media users.

The Love & Hip Hop star announced earlier this week,

“Starting my skin bleaching process today… it’s time for change”

It’s not clear if he was serious, but some fans certainly took his word for it as they reacted on Twitter. See a few remarks below.

Meanwhile, Erica Mena has blasted him for stressing her out while she’s pregnant with their second child together. Despite their bundle of joy on the way Erica Mena filed for divorce recently.

According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Erica Mena is claiming that Safaree Samuels seeking joint custody of their children is only being done

“in hopes of obtaining ‘good publicity’ and painting [Erica] as the instigator, while in actuality, [Erica’s] the only parent ensuring the parties’ children’s safety and acting in their best interest.”

Erica Mena adds that her estranged husband should be more concerned about her and their unborn child’s health instead of trying to put out the narrative that he’s a good dad in legal documents.

In addition to that Mena is claiming that Safaree has

“failed to be involved in her care or to visit her at the hospital during her most recent stay, where she remained overnight for many days related to her pregnancy.”

She also accused Safaree’s drama of being a part of the reason she’s recently been hospitalized.
