Karrueche Tran just won an Emmy and made history doing it!

She won the award for Outstanding Performance By A Lead Actress In A Daytime Fiction Program at the 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards ceremony last night (July 18th). She was recognized for her performance as Vivian Johnson-Garrett on Popstar! TV’s “The Bay.”

She was clearly shocked about her win and began her speech with,

“I can’t even talk.”

She added,

“I’m so thankful and so blessed and so grateful. Thank you to the Academy and to the other nominees.”

She acknowledged her loved ones “who have always supported me” before thanking her “The Bay” co-stars “who have believed in me since day one when nobody did at all.”

Karrueche Tran also expressed her excitement on social media.
