Petition Calls For The Removal Of Dating Guru Kevin Samuels From YouTube & Instagram

A petition calling out Kevin Samuels has recently appeared online. Thousands of people want the self-appointed professional image consultant removed from Instagram and Youtube due to multiple controversial statements he’s made in the past. According to the online removal request, Kevin Samuels has formed a community for men to speak negatively on women. The petition adds,

“Removing [Kevin Samuels’] voice of divisive vitriol will allow women to feel safer not only in public spaces, but in online communities as well.

Freedom of Speech is a Constitutional Right for each of us, however, when that speech is loaded with thoughts and threats of violence towards women, manipulation of young women and even fantasies of death to women, that freedom of speech becomes a prison for all people those thoughts and desires are intended to isolate.”

It also states,

“Acts of violence, sexually predatory behavior and even death has been documented as stemming from rhetoric Mr. Samuels and his community of followers has spewed in just the last 12 months alone.

Women feel unsafe in the presence of men who identify with his ideology and have even been berated while going about their daily lives, (yes, even while at work), with criticisms that have been spoken directly from Mr. Samuels’ mouth. The very words that were spoken on social media platforms have permeated every facet of daily life for unsuspecting women.

Removing this leader of hatred against women will bring reprieve for all of us.”

So far the petition has received 6,619 signatures out of the 7,500 final goal.

Kevin Samuels is no stranger to making headlines for his controversial statements normally about women. As previously reported, this past April he was slammed for saying that rapper Saweetie is ‘an adjustable 6.’ During an episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, the dating guru said Saweetie is,

“an adjustable 6, meaning she can go from cute to pretty.”

He added,

“I look at your fresh face, no makeup, your natural state. And if you have ever seen [Saweetie’s] pictures fresh face, natural state, she’s a cute woman who can be pretty. But I don’t think she’ll ever be considered beautiful or gorgeous.”
