As previously reported, Nick Cannon has made headlines multiple times this year for having seven children, three who were born this year, with four different women. Nick Cannon became a trending topic on Twitter as fans joked that Drake’s album announcement post is about him.

Nick Cannon has previously spoken about his untraditional family life. In an interview with The Breakfast Club he said,
“I’ve learned so much from my children and it’s so amazing and I really just love being around my kids. And just that youthful energy, it feels like you get to relive every time. And I think because I’ve been through so much in my life, you know, physically, mentally, and spiritually, the best place that I find is the time that I spend with my kids.”
He also discussed how he feels about his children coming from 4 different women.
“That’s a eurocentric concept when you think about this idea that you’re supposed to have just one person for the rest of your life. When really that’s just a classified property when you think about it.”
Nick Cannon continued,
“Just the idea that a man should have one woman – we shouldn’t have anything. I have no ownership over this person. Like, If we really talking about how we co-exist and how we populate. It’s about what exchange can we create together.”
He added,
“Those women and all women are the ones that open themselves up to say ‘I would like to allow this man in my world and I will birth this child.’ So it ain’t my decision. I’m following suit.”
